Banneker’s very own Kelian Allen ended 2024 on a high note, earning the Play of the Week honor. A standout in both football and track, the junior recently ran a blazing 10.41 in the 100m, placing him among Georgia’s fastest sprinters.On the football field, Allen was a key playmaker for Banneker, finishing his junior season with 1,008 rushing yards, 15 total touchdowns, and 1,454 all-purpose yards. He also ranked 2nd in the state for special teams kick return yards.
Standing at 5’9”, 170 lbs., he’s drawn comparisons to former Archer High School standout Chad Alexander, thanks to his balance, speed, and ability to break tackles.
