The Banneker Trojans ended their losing streak in powerful fashion Friday night, defeating the Morrow Mustangs 16–6. The win marked an emotional Senior Night, celebrating the hard work and dedication of the team’s senior class.
Senior quarterback and running back Kelian “The Flash” Allen led the way, scoring two touchdowns and converting two two-point plays to give the Trojans a strong lead. His explosive speed and plays set the tone early, keeping the momentum in Banneker’s favor from start to finish.
On the defensive side, Terrill Jones and Quentin Hand came up big with key tackles and stops that shut down Morrow’s late drives. Their grit and teamwork helped seal the win and keep the Mustangs from gaining ground.
The victory not only closed out the regular season on a high note but also proved that the Trojans’ resilience and heart remain unmatched.
